Bio:

I'm 17 and live in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. My passion for cycling extends across various disciplines, including road cycling, mountain biking, cyclocross, and even dirt jumping. My journey in the world of cycling is driven by personal achievement and a deep desire to represent my community and country on the global stage. One of my most significant achievements was my victory in the 2021 US Cyclocross UCI Junior Men National Championship as a first-year in the 17-18 age group. It was a moment of immense pride for me, and it fueled my determination to continue pushing my limits. During the 2022-23 season, I fully immersed myself in the heart of cyclocross racing embracing the challenges and opportunities that awaited me in Belgium and the Netherlands. It was an unforgettable season filled with intense training, fierce competition, and invaluable learning experiences.

In 2022, I had the honor of representing the USA in my first World Championship in Cyclocross, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In 2023, I experienced the thrill of racing a second World Championship in Hoogerheide, Netherlands. These global events provided me with a deeper understanding of the international dynamics of the sport and allowed me to measure myself against the world's best riders.

In the summer of 2023, I am set to embark on a new and exciting chapter of my cycling career: a debut in the international mountain bike racing circuit, proudly wearing the Team USA jersey.

Currently, I am a member of the 2023 USA Cycling National Cyclocross Team. On the domestic front, I continue to ride for Boulder Junior Cycling (BJC), my local team that has been a part of my life since I was eight years old. The coaching support and camaraderie within the BJC community have played a significant role in shaping me as a cyclist and an individual.

About Me:

Growing up in Colorado, my love for outdoor activities has always been a central part of my life. Whether it's riding my bike, skiing down the slopes, or hiking with my dog, Zuma. While my main focus has been on cycling, I take advantage of the off-season to indulge in my other passion—skiing. Currently, I am a senior in high school, and striking a balance between my ambitious cycling career and academic endeavors is a priority for me. My rigorous academic curriculum includes numerous honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses with a focus on business studies. Despite the challenges posed by my coursework and cycling commitments, I am proud to maintain a 4.2 Grade Point Average (GPA).

In pursuit of my cycling dreams, I have made the decision to graduate a semester early. This will enable me to seize the opportunity to compete internationally in the spring of 2024. As I look ahead to the future, my goal is to merge my passion for racing on an international stage with my academic aspirations of attending business school.
